Audio Girl Foundation Announces Summer Training Scholarship for Young Women in Audio Tech and Music Business Across Africa
We are proud to announce the launch of our Summer Training Program for young women in Audio Technology and Music Business, alongside $300 scholarship opportunities aimed at supporting aspiring female creatives across Africa.
The initiative was created to empower the next generation of women entering the music and entertainment industry by providing access to practical training, mentorship, industry knowledge, and career development opportunities in spaces where women remain underrepresented.
As Africa’s creative economy continues to experience significant growth and global recognition, the demand for skilled professionals in audio technology, music business, artist development, production, and entertainment management continues to rise. Through this program, our goal is to create more pathways for young women to participate meaningfully in the industry both creatively and professionally.
The Summer Training Program will introduce participants to key areas including:
Music Business & Industry Structure
Music Marketing & Branding
Music Release Strategy
Music Project Management and a
Music Distribution Clinic
Selected participants will receive scholarship support valued at $300, helping to reduce financial barriers to accessing quality industry education and training.
We believe young African women deserve more access to opportunities within the music and creative industries. This program is about building confidence, developing practical skills, and helping more women see themselves as future leaders in audio tech and music business.
We also emphasized our commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for women interested in careers beyond performance, encouraging participation in technical, operational, and executive areas of the entertainment ecosystem.
Applications are currently open to young women across Africa who are passionate about music, creativity, media, technology, and entertainment.
